Great material, relatively good text, confusing lectures, terrible TA, nightmare midterm, fair exam. Good times. Congrats to all who survived. spot on!
*Is the median for the course really a C-? That is actually the LOWEST mark i have ever seen for a 300 level Math class! Can we curve it to at least a B-?
Here's the grade distribution for the course:

As you see we have 35% of A-, A, A+ grades, the maximum allowed for a course. The fact that we have many students who got a mark below 50 (which means 0-25 on the final exam) does lower the statistics, but doesn't change the fact that the exam and the midterm have been a fair measurement of students' ability to solve problems and apply the material of the course. Once again, I can't curve the grades once I have 35% of A-,A,A+ grades.
LOL. We had 2 TAs: male and female, I think one of them was actually good.
Sorry for confusing you in the lectures. Yura.

Is the course average going to be staying at C, is it possible to make it at least 70?
The final exam was harder than what was initially stated in lecture (i.e. since the midterm did not go so well, the final exam was said to be of the same difficulty level). The marks, I believe, do not reflect my knowledge level. That being said, will there be a possibility to view our exams from the professor as opposed from the registrar and will the final marks be adjusted?
That was an extremely hard final and it seems that they marked it even harder. I really hope there is some adjustment because I feel that I knew the material very well and my exam mark does not reflect my knowledge at all. Overall, very unhappy with this course: especially the horrible TA.
Are the final marks going to be adjusted?
Question aboutQ2(b) on the final: prove there are infinitely many primes in the form of 6k+1.

final exam grade was adjusted according to formula 27+0.73*x, where x is on April 19, 2-5pm in Auditorium B, St. Vladimir Institute, 620 Spadina Avenue. It will cover the material of lectures 1-20, except RSA, Pell's equation and the material of lecture 19. It will include 4 questions of the type that appearedoriginal grade. The mark you are going to see on the midterm (2 parts each, each part 10 points) and 5 true/false questions (4 points each, a short explanationROSI is required to support your answer).
Our TA Misha will hold additional office hours on
